2. Service description

OC Electrical Quotes receives and organizes electrical quote requests, including panel-upgrade and EV-charger requests. Staff reviews completeness and consent, and objective service-category and location rules determine which participating contractors may access a request. Each contractor independently decides whether to respond, and the homeowner independently chooses whom to contact or hire. OC Electrical Quotes does not select, recommend, rank, approve, endorse, supervise, or guarantee a contractor. OC Electrical Quotes provides administrative request-intake and availability services and is not an electrical contractor, employment agency, insurer, inspector, permit authority, or guarantor.

OC Electrical Quotes does not bid, negotiate, enter into, or collect payment under a home-improvement or construction contract on a contractor's behalf. Homeowners select, contract with, and pay an independent contractor directly.

OC Electrical Quotes does not diagnose electrical conditions, provide electrical advice, prepare contractor estimates, or direct a contractor's work.

3. Not an emergency service

Do not rely on the website or Telegram workflow for emergencies. If there is fire, smoke, sparking, burning smell, shock, excessive heat, exposed energized wiring, or another immediate danger, move away from the affected area and contact 911, the utility when appropriate, or a qualified licensed professional.

4. Contractor independence

Contractors are independent businesses and are not employees or agents of OC Electrical Quotes. An availability listing or public-source status check is not an endorsement, recommendation, approval, or guarantee. Contractors control their own decisions to respond, estimates, schedules, methods, contracts, permits, employees, insurance, warranties, and work.

No participation or availability creates a partnership, joint venture, employment, agency, or supervisory relationship between OC Electrical Quotes and a contractor.

Contractor relationship disclosure: Eric Rubalcava has an ownership, management, and employment relationship with Next Level Lighting and Electric. That relationship does not give Next Level priority, a ranking, a recommendation, or guaranteed access to requests. The same recorded participation, service-category, capacity, and location rules apply to every participating contractor. Each contractor independently decides whether to respond, and each homeowner independently decides whom to contact or hire. A disclosed relationship does not change the same objective availability rules, and the homeowner remains free to contact or hire any contractor.

5. Contractor status checks

Before a contractor may participate, OC Electrical Quotes intends to record license status and classification information from the California Contractors State License Board and document the date checked. OC Electrical Quotes also requires a separate participation record containing service categories, service areas, contact details, and request-opportunity consent. Objective service-category and location rules determine availability; staff does not select or rank a contractor. No contractor receives a request automatically. License, bond, insurance, complaint, capacity, and personnel information can change. You should independently check the contractor’s current status, identity, insurance, references, written contract, and permits before hiring or paying anyone.

Review the CSLB's Online Marketplace Fast Facts and homeowner hiring guidance. Homeowners should contract with and pay the selected independent contractor directly.

6. No guarantees

To the extent permitted by law, OC Electrical Quotes does not guarantee:

7. Your responsibilities

8. Communications and consent

By providing contact information and checking the contractor-availability consent, you authorize OC Electrical Quotes to make the request available to participating contractors that satisfy the recorded service-category and location rules. Each contractor independently decides whether to respond and may contact you about that request using ordinary person-to-person phone calls or email. OC Electrical Quotes does not select or recommend which contractor should respond or whom you should hire. The current pilot does not authorize automated marketing texts, prerecorded calls, or unrelated marketing. Additional consent will be required before those methods are introduced.

9. Fees and contractor agreements

The current homeowner request form does not charge a submission fee. Any price, deposit, financing, cancellation right, warranty, or project agreement is between you and the contractor and should be documented in a separate written contract.

10. Service availability and changes

The pilot may be changed, suspended, limited, or discontinued. OC Electrical Quotes may reject spam, unsafe requests, requests outside the service area, or requests that lack required consent or information.

11. Advertising and promotions

Advertising may describe the request-intake and contractor-availability service, but it does not guarantee price, savings, availability, contractor response, project eligibility, or completed work. Promotional language does not change these terms. OC Electrical Quotes does not currently authorize automated marketing texts, purchased-contact outreach, or hidden cross-site advertising trackers.

12. Disclaimers and limitation

The service is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, OC Electrical Quotes is not responsible for contractor acts or omissions, property damage, personal injury, project disputes, lost profits, or indirect or consequential losses arising from a contractor relationship or reliance on third-party information. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.

13. Privacy

The Privacy Policy explains the information collected, how it is used and shared, and how to submit an access, correction, or deletion request.

14. Changes to these terms

OC Electrical Quotes may update these terms as the service changes. The revised terms will be posted with an updated effective date. Material changes should be reviewed before new requests are accepted under the updated version.
